Description
With regard to commercial space and its possible interpretation, the S.O.G. Group concludes the following:
* The Zernike covenant enables commercial space on the Zernike.
* More than 94% of Zernike users indicate that commercial space on the Zernike is a good plan. According to the S.O.G. group, this need can only be met if a large and varied range of commercial space is created on Zernike.
* The commercial space must be located at junctions or in the plinth of the buildings, so that a large run-up is guaranteed. A large and varied range of commercial space will also contribute to a larger start-up.
* There is a great need among the users of the Zernike for a supermarket, sandwich shop and a cafe / bar. When filling the commercial space, this need must certainly be taken into account. Other realistic options to fill the commercial space would be a coffee shop, post office, snack bar, video library, restaurant or a kiosk.
* There is a great need for more PIN machines in the buildings. This should be included in the new building.
* The exhibition café or a lounge area could be a gimmick for the stand-alone (shopping) unit.
