* Alcohol use Groningen youth is in accordance with national reference figures
* Parents have become much more critical of young people's alcohol use
* Alcohol consumption in Groningen schoolchildren < 16 years halved since 2004
* Alcohol is started earlier on the (v)mbo
* A little more binge is drunk on the (v)mbo than in havo-vwo
* Binge drinking decreased < 16 years
Binge drinking is common among two-thirds of young people over the age of 17.
Binge drinking weekly in about 30% of 17-18 year olds
