Waste containers and waste calendar
Description
In the Afvalwijzer / Afvalapp you can find the following information about waste containers that can be found in the Municipality of Groningen and the waste calendar:
- Where are the waste containers located
- What type of container it is (Stainless waste, Glass, Paper or Textile, etc.)
- The cycle related to the emptying of the containers (when it is emptied cyclically)
- When and where waste paper or textiles are collected and when and where the chemo cart comes
- The app has a 'WasteABC'. In the search bar you can search for a waste product (for example 'pizza box' or 'saving lamp') and see in which container it belongs
The waste guide can be viewed via https://gemeente.groningen.nl/waste guide-and-waste app and the waste app can be downloaded via the PlayStore (Android) and Appstore (iOS).
