Description
Cross-border cooperation policy aims to create connections and cooperation across national borders to enable a common cross-border approach and to tackle problems and seize opportunities. The Cross-Border Cooperation Programme "Greece-Cyprus" 2007-2013 is a set of proposals for relevant interventions and actions under the conditions governing Structural Funds policies for cross-border cooperation under the "European Territorial Cooperation" objective for the period 2007-2013.
The strategy for the cooperation area focuses both on building on its comparative advantages and addressing its weaknesses. At the same time, it follows national and Community guidelines to address the challenges and potential risks on the path to economic and social convergence.
