Fugacity of carbon dioxide (fCO2), temperature, salinity and other variables collected from surface underway observations using shower head equilibrator, carbon dioxide gas detector and other instruments from R/V Thomas G. Description

This dataset consists of surface underway ocean measurements of fugacity of carbon dioxide (fCO2), salinity, and sea surface temperature collected during R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruises in the South Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2024-01-13 to 2024-04-19. The measurements were collected to evaluate the spatial distribution of air-sea CO2 flux. These measurements were collected with support from NOAA's Global Ocean Monitoring and Observing (GOMO) Program.
