Description
Fresch is a non-profit association formed on March 23, 2020. The head office is located at 163 rue de Luxembourg in L-4222 Esch-sur-Alzette. The association is registered in the Trade and Companies Register under registration number F 12816 and at the Joint Social Security Centre under the registration number 2020 6101 122-99.
Created at the initiative of the City of Esch-sur-Alzette ahead of its designation as the European Capital of Culture, the Fresch association aims to implement the municipal plan of the cultural strategy [Connections}, in particular by supporting, managing or accompanying events, projects and creative places contributing to the implementation of the communal cultural plan, on the one hand and by coordinating the cultural heritage under the project of the European Capital of Culture on its territory, on the other hand.
In this context, the association manages the municipal cultural infrastructure Bâtiment 4, Bridderhaus and Konschthal, as well as the flagship cultural events of the City of Esch-sur-Alzette, such as the Night of Culture and the Francofolies Music Festival.
