Description
This mapping of the algae fields of the Seven Islands in Bréhat is the synthesis of the studies conducted by R. Pérez, J.-L. Vallet and R. Kaas of the ISTPM and published in paper form in 1979.
For these studies, different methods were needed: aerial photographs, field surveys (scuba diving, dredging).
This digital map of the algae fields of the Seven Islands in Brehat was produced in 2009 as part of the SINP Mer (Nature and Landscape Information System, Sea Component), with the support of REBENT (BENThic Fauna and Flora Monitoring Network).
