Mapping of algae fields from Penmarc'h to Trévignon at 1/10000 (Source Braud J.-P., Perez R., 1974-1977)
Description
This mapping of algae fields from Penmarc'h to Trévignon is the synthesis of studies conducted by J.-P. Baud and R. Pérez of the ISTPM. Of the 11 maps produced, only 4 maps (Pointe de Penmarc'h, Le Guilvinec, Anse de Lesconil, Loctudy) were published in paper form between 1974 and 1977 in Science and Fisheries, the newsletter and documentation of the Scientific and Technical Institute of Maritime Fisheries. The other original maps were never published. They come from the ISTPM archives.
For these studies, different methods were needed: aerial photographs, field surveys (scuba diving, dredging).
