Mapping of major sub-littoral stands in the Plogoff area (Source Belsher T., Hamon D., Guillaumont B., 1980-1981) - Scale 1/25000
Description
This numerical mapping of the main sub-littoral stands in the Plogoff area was carried out in 2010 according to the study conducted at Ifremer by Belsher T., Hamon D. and Guillaumont G. and published in 1987.
For this study, underwater photographs associated with dive sampling made it possible to characterize and quantify the main biosedimentary components. These field surveys were carried out between June 1979 and June 1980. Nine biosedimentary sets were distinguished.
This map was digitized in 2010 as part of the SINP Mer (Nature and Landscape Information System, Sea component), with the support of the REBENT (Marine BENThic Flora and Fauna Monitoring Network).
