WFD – Loire-Bretagne Basin – Global State
Description
The analysis focuses on the assessment of the overall status of the coastal and transitional water bodies of the Western Channel and the Bay of Biscay. It results from the combination of the ecological and chemical status of each body of water according to the rules of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD).
The most recent assessment of the condition is presented in the DCE Loire-Bretagne atlas. Previous reports are available in annual archives.
