WFD – Loire-Bretagne Basin – Ecological status
Description
The analysis focuses on monitoring the ecological status of coastal and transitional water bodies in the Western Channel and the Bay of Biscay.
The ecological status of a body of coastal water within the meaning of the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) is determined by the biological, physico-chemical and hydromorphological status of the body of water.
The status is determined according to the rules described in the Order of January 25, 2010.
