Nature of funds: percentage of sand, algae, coral, herbarium and colour composition (Sand/Algae/Corail) - west coast of Reunion
Description
This data makes it possible to visualise the recovery rates of the four main components of the reef platform: the Sand, the Coral, the Algae and the Herbiers. It also allows you to visualize a synthesis of the four previous series of maps.
The image consists of 4 bands (one for each constituent), 3 of which are represented (sand / algae / coral) on a composite RGB image with a stretch over the range of values between 0 and 100%. On the pixel scale, the sum of the bands is 100%.
For the seagrass cover rate, only areas with significant seagrass beds are shown in the following maps (between Saint-Gilles and Trou d’eau).
