WFD – Reunion Basin – Ecological status – Biological status – Benthos of hard substrates
Description
Assessment of the ecological quality of coastal water bodies in Réunion as part of the monitoring programme of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) for hard substrate benthos.
The management plan is monitored every three years at the rate of one campaign per year, preferably during the summer period.
Map 2013: As the first monitoring campaign took place in 2015, the evaluation was carried out on the basis of external slope monitoring data acquired between 2006 and 2011 as part of the RMNC monitoring of the RNMR. The most downgrading parameter is taken into account for the assessment of the state. Assessment validated as part of the 2013 state of play update.
Map 2016: The evaluation was carried out on the basis of data from the 2015 campaign.
