WFD – Reunion Basin – Chemical status – Chemical contaminants
Description
Assessment of the chemical quality of coastal water bodies in Réunion as part of the monitoring programme of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC).
The frequency of monitoring is twice per management plan.
Map 2013: As the first monitoring campaign for chemical contaminants is planned for 2015, the status of water bodies is recorded as ‘unknown’.
The most recent assessment of the state of this element is presented in the DCE Réunion atlas.
