WFD – Reunion Basin – Chemical State
Description
Assessment of the chemical status of coastal water bodies in Réunion as part of the monitoring programme of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC). The chemical status derives from the results obtained during the monitoring of priority substances (Annex I Directive 2013/39/EU), specific substances (Ministerial and Prefectural Order in progress), relevant substances (Ministerial and Prefectural Order in progress). Map 2013: assessment based on data acquired up to the end of 2012 and validated as part of the 2013 update of the state of play.
Map 2016: State of the WFD Atlas in 2016: assessment based on data acquired up to the end of 2015
Map 2019: State of the DCE Atlas in January 2019: assessment based on data acquired over the period 2011-2016
Maps 2013, 2016 and 2019: As the implementation of the monitoring control for chemical contaminants is still ongoing at the time of the update of the state of play in 2013 and 2016, the status of water bodies with regard to this quality element is noted as unknown.
