Natura 2000 Intertidal Habitat Map FR5300024 - Elorn River (2012) [Part 1/2]
Description
The map of the intertidal habitats of the Natura 2000 site FR5300024 - Elorn River was produced by LEMAR as part of the European Natura 2000 network. The site studied concerns only the part of the Natura 2000 site Rivière Elorn under the influence of the tide, that is to say from the Landerneau bridge upstream to the Passage (municipality of Relecq-Kerhuon and Plougastel-Daoulas).
The method used for habitat mapping is based on the principle of contouring intertidal habitats using orthophotography as of 1/2000. There was no photo-interpretation but in situ habitat recognition at tides with a coefficient greater than 80. Field validations were carried out between the end of September 2011 and the end of November 2011.
