Abundance of juvenile flounder (Platichthys fletus) observed during scientific surveys in the period 1998 – 2009

Description

The abundance of juvenile flounder (Platichthys fletus) is expressed in number of individuals per km2 and observed during the Ifremer fishing seasons using ‘bottom dragging’ fishing gear: Baie de Seine (1998-2002), Baie de Somme (2005-2009). Data used in a study to identify areas of least constraints for the exploitation of marine aggregates (study commissioned by the Ministry of Ecology).
