Abundance of scallops (Pecten maximus) observed during scientific campaigns in the period 2005 – 2011

Description

The abundance of scallops (Pecten maximus) is expressed in number of individuals per km2 and observed during the Ifremer fishing seasons using ‘bottom dragging’ fishing gear: COSB (2005-2009), COPER (2006-2011), COMOR (2005-2009). Data used in a study to identify areas of least constraints for the exploitation of marine aggregates (study commissioned by the Ministry of Ecology).
