DATA: Greenhouse gas inventory by commune in the Alsace region
Description
In order to feed into the work of the Regional Conference of Energy and Atmosphere in Alsace (CREA), energy consumption and air emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases are estimated simultaneously each year at municipal level as part of the update of ASPA inventories. These inventories are based on the methodological guide for the preparation of territorial air emission inventories prepared by the National Coordination Centre for Territorial Inventories (PCIT) involving in particular the Ministry responsible for the Environment, IINERIS, CITEPA and the approved air quality monitoring associations (AASQA), federated within ATMO France.
The greenhouse gases included in the data batch for 2013 are as follows: CO2, CH4, N2O, fluorinated and PRG. CO2 and CH4 are expressed as T/year. Fluorinated is expressed as T-equivalent CO2/year, while the GWP is expressed as KT CO2/year equivalent. N2O is expressed in kg/year.
