Data — Forest Corridors — Northern Vosges Biosphere Reserve/Pfaelzerwald
Description
The file represents the main corridors of forest wildlife. These corridors have been mapped preferentially through the most favourable areas (= permeable) to the target species of the forest weft, such as full forest reserves, islets of senescence or forests of a natural character (woodwood, containing large woods, dead wood). These forest corridors are consistent with the major axes of wildlife passages mapped in the SRCE Alsace, as well as with the wildlife corridors (“Wildtierkorridore”) mapped in Rhineland-Palatinate.
