Description
Road traffic measurement data on Lower Rhine RDs.
About 35 points are continuously measured (SIREDO stations).
The rest of the road network, divided into 1000 sections, is subject to temporary measures at a multi-annual rate. On the basis of these one-off measures, statistical calculations are made to evaluate the annual traffic of each section, distinguishing between all vehicles and heavy goods traffic. Accuracy of traffic values: about 10 %.
The data are organised to allow the choice of a general visual consultation (map, optimised on scale 1/100.000) or a detailed consultation (access to the tables of the detailed figures).
Year N traffic data are generally consolidated and made available in March of year N+ 1.
