Description
Surface objects of the areas of competence of the lieutenants of louveteries of the department of Charente.
The prefect appoints the lieutenants of louveteries for a period of six years and determines the territories assigned to them. These territories can be sub-communal. The number of lieutenants is determined according to the area, afforestation and terrain of the department.
Wolves are a hunt for wolves and other large pests for destruction. The collective destruction of pests arrested by the Prefect is managed by the Wowry Lieutenants, under the control of the Departmental Directorate of the Territories.
The lowry lieutenants are the administrative technical advisors on issues related to wildlife management.
