Description
Surface objects (referential used: BD TOPO) of the areas of competence (intercommunality or isolated commune) for the supply of drinking water (AEP) in the Charente department.
Municipalities may transfer their powers to the establishment they create which may take the form of association cooperation (union and other groupings) or project cooperation (public institutions of inter-communal cooperation with own taxation — EPCI).
These institutions may exercise only those powers which have been explicitly transferred to them either by law or by its member municipalities.
