Description
Biological reservoirs, within the meaning of the Water and Aquatic Environments Act of 30 December 2006 (LEMA, art. L214-17 of the Code of the Environment), are watercourses or parts of streams or canals that include one or more breeding areas or habitats of aquatic species and allow their distribution in one or more watercourses in the watershed. They are necessary to maintain or achieve good ecological status of rivers in a watershed.
The SDAGE 2016-2021 updates these biological reservoirs.
