Description
Category AC3 easements concern easements relating to nature reserves and perimeters of protection around nature reserves. Parts of the territory of one or more municipalities may be classified as a nature reserve where the conservation of fauna, flora, soil, waters, mineral and fossil deposits and, in general, the natural environment is of particular importance or where it is appropriate to exclude them from any artificial intervention likely to degrade them.
There are three types of nature reserves:
- national nature reserves;
- regional nature reserves;
- the nature reserves of the territorial collectivity of Corsica.
Protective perimeters can be established around nature reserves
In particular, the following may be regulated or prohibited: hunting, fishing, agricultural, forestry, pastoral, industrial, commercial, sporting and tourist activities, the performance of public or private works, the use of water, the movement or parking of persons, vehicles and animals.
This resource describes the surface bases of Category AC3 easements, i.e. the parcels identified in the delimitation plan or parcel list of the nature reserve and, where applicable,
