Description
The origin of the risk characterizes the entity of the real world which, by its presence, represents a potential risk. This origin may be characterised by a name and, in some cases, a geographical object locating the actual entity causing the risk. The location of the entity and the knowledge of the dangerous phenomenon serve to define the risk basins, the areas exposed to risks that form the basis of the PPR.
