Description
The government instruction of 3 June 2015 requires the State services to carry out a mapping of rivers in each department to facilitate the proper implementation of the water law as well as a guide to the maintenance of rivers.
In Maine-et-Loire, to avoid multiplying cartographic repositories, the watercourse map repository is unique for:
— good Agricultural and Environmental Conditions (GAEC)
— waterways police water.
— and integrated into the “Water Point” reference point for Non Treatment Areas (NTZs)
Flows not listed on the online map may be based on expert knowledge of real rivers and therefore subject to regulations related to the Water Act.
