Description
Agricultural and small agricultural regions were defined (in 1946) to highlight homogeneous agricultural areas. The Agricultural Region (RA) covers an entire number of municipalities forming a homogeneous agricultural area. The Petite Agricole Region (PRA) consists of the intersection of the department and the RA. The file of the Agricultural Regions (RA and PRA) is managed by INSEE (taking into account mergers or de-mergers of municipalities).
