Polygons of areas exceeding the limit values for exposure to nocturnal noise (22H — 6H) of the Charente land transport infrastructure expressed in Ln.
LN = average sound level indicator for the period 22H — 6H.
This zoning (CEREMA data aggregated by DDT Charente) is derived from a calculation method which gives approximate values and often higher than reality. In situ noise control can accurately determine the sound level to which a construction and its occupants can be exposed.
