The inventory of Natural Areas of Ecological, Wildlife and Floristic Interest (ZNIEFF) aims to identify and describe, throughout the national territory, sectors of greater ecological interest housing heritage biodiversity with a view to creating a knowledge base but also a decision-making tool (protection of space, spatial planning).
