Priority rivers for the protection of amphihalin migratory fish with a maturity exceeding 2021 in the Rhine-Meuse basin.
Amphihalous migratory fish belong to species that are obliged to move between freshwater and sea in order to complete their life cycle.
All these species breed in rivers and grow at sea except the eel that does exactly the opposite and breeds in the Sargasses Sea.
