Description
Surface objects of the cantons, in accordance with Decree No 2014-195 of 20 February 2014 on the delimitation of the cantons in the department of Charente.
In 2015, the departmental (former cantonal) elections appointed departmental councillors replacing the general councillors elected in 2008 and 2011.
For each canton, a binomial (man-woman) is elected, for a period of 6 years, by a single majority vote with two rounds.
