Description
Knowledge of the main types of soil helps to understand the agronomic constraints posed by the environment. This layer is the result of the vectorisation by the DRAAF of Haute-Normandie of a map at the scale of the 1/250 000th produced in the framework of a study carried out in 1988 by the Regional Economics and Agricultural Development Service (SERDA). It is therefore informative and makes it possible to differentiate the natural regions of Haute-Normandie according to the main types of soil. The SERDA study was carried out on the basis of existing documents in the field of geology, pedology and agronomy (soil suitability for individual remediation, geological maps, maps of agricultural land of Pont-Audemer, Montivilliers and Le Havre, drainage reference areas of the Pays d’Ouche and Pays de Bray, soil maps prior to consolidation and geological monograph).
