Description
A flood risk prevention plan linked to the Preconil and its main tributaries was prescribed by prefectural decree of 26 January 2018.
The reference flood for the PPRI in the Préconil watershed is the centennial flood.
Hazard studies prior to the development of a regulatory mapping for RPRI were conducted by the Ingérop and Georives Bureau of Studies using 2 complementary methods:
Ingerop used hydraulic modelling with the production of a height chart and a speed chart to arrive at a hazard map.
GEORIVES used a hydrogeomorphological approach to unmodelled areas to achieve overall land cover for flood hazard.
Pending the approval of the PPRI, the hazard maps with an annex incorporating the principles of urbanisation were notified to the municipality of Plan-de-la-Tour on 22 October 2018.
