Description
The coastal path must allow pedestrians to reach the shoreline of the sea and to walk as long as possible along the coastline.
It refers to the entire route open along the sea.
It does not have a single legal status because it consists of sections of a different legal nature. Depending on the nature of the land bordering the public maritime domain, the trail passes over the public domain of the State or local authorities, or private property.
The entire coastal pathway includes the pedestrian-open pathway, the short-term study or accessible trail line, and the inaccessible coastline.
The sections are one of the main elements for identifying the location, route and use of the coastal trail.
