Description
The National Flood Risk Management Strategy should set criteria for significant risk to identify “high flood risk territories” (HRT) by September 2012.
For these IRRs, targets to reduce the negative consequences of flooding will have to be set, and local risk management strategies to achieve them will have to be put in place by local and regional authorities.
