Description
The Perimeter of Areas Exposed to Natural Hazards in the Municipality of Callian was approved by Prefectural Order of 26 February 1992 pursuant to Article R 111.3 of the Town Planning Code.
Article R111.3 of the Urban Planning Code is a Plan for the Prevention of Predictable Natural Risks (PPRN) since Act No. 95-101 of 02 February 1995.
In the territory of the municipality of Callian, the PPR identifies natural hazards:
flooding by hydromorphism and overflow of watercourses;
— of landslides, falls of stones and blocks, collapses linked to the filling of underground cavities and superficial erosions and ravines.
Land subject to natural hazards is classified into two types of area, due to the severity of the risks:
— Zones 1: in which new constructions are prohibited with the exception of works of public interest
— Zones 2: sensitive sectors in which new constructions are subject to prior study and geotechnical checks.
