Description
Points of introduction into the natural environment of clean water from community STEPs
The discharge point locates the outcome of the residual pollution stream, after treatment at a treatment plant, in the natural environment (pipe end, injection drilling, infiltration site).
The MEDD circular of 20 December 2002 also details the data to be provided concerning the point of rejection. However, these other references do not appear to locate the point of rejection.
The application of station sludge is not described in this layer.
Year N data are only available at the end of year N+ 1: in early 2021, therefore, only 2019 (and earlier) data are available. See the Genealogy of N_ASST_STEP_P_031 for more details.
