Description
Projects for generating electricity using mechanical wind energy are authorised by a single prefectural decree, known as ‘single authorisation’.
This single authorisation constitutes an authorisation under Article L. 512-1 of the Environmental Code and, where applicable, building permit under Article L. 421-1 of the Urban Planning Code, authorisation for clearance under Articles L. 214-13 and L. 341-3 of the Forest Code, authorisation to operate under Article L. 311-1 of the Energy Code, approval under Article L. 323-11 of the same Code and derogation under 4° of Article L. 411-2 of the Environmental Code.
