Description
A barrier to flow is causing a change in surface water flow (in talwegs, minor and major stream beds and marine submersion areas).
Only artificial barriers (from human activity) are taken into account within the flow barrier benchmark.
A barrier to flow is identified by a unique national code, geographic coordinates, name and type of work.
