Description
Identification of waste areas according to 3 selected cases: Wasteland, partial waste, rehabilitated waste.
A wasteland is an area, land or property without active human occupants.
Often, the development of economic land is carried out as an urban extension, on agricultural or natural areas.
The territory of the Somme is marked by the presence of a large number of brownfields linked to former industrial, commercial, agricultural activities...
A first census of Picardy brownfields was carried out by DREAL in 2007 and more recently, three studies conducted since 2013, completed this
work:
— on the Great Amiénois, the ADUGA, after a phase of updating the DREAL database, led a reflection on some brownfields to rehabilitate.
— in the West, the ETH Normandie conducted a similar study on the territory of the Pays des Trois Vallées and Pays Bresle Yères.
— on the Santerre-Haute-Somme and the country of the Green Treat, the DDTM80 commissioned a study office to update the knowledge of the brownfields (number, state, etc.) and define city projects around a few sites.
