Bicycle roads and green roads are part of a national policy implemented by the Ministry responsible for ecology for the development of cycling and cycling.A portion of a cycle route is a part of a bicycle road specifically identified for its particular role in relation to this main itinerary.Four types of cycling portion characterise the cycling route principal:une stage is a cycling portion aimed at tourism: it is sized to ride by bike in one day and connects two localities offering services to cyclists.A variant is a portion of a cycle route which represents a recommended alternative between two junctions of a main itinerary (each bifurcation is identified by a reference point of the network. It avoids, for example, a difficulty or passes through a point of interest.A portion observed is the portion of the cycle route on which a meter measures cycling.A temporary deviation is a short-distance route junction, temporarily set up to avoid a black spot on the main route such as a temporarily inpassable area by bicycle or an exceptionally closed passage to traffic.A bike route consists of an orderly collection of stages that can travel in one day.
