Polygons of nocturnal noise exposure areas of Charente land transport infrastructure greater than 50 dB(A) expressed in Ln.
LN = average sound level indicator for the period 22H — 6H.
This zoning (CEREMA data aggregated by DDT Charente) is derived from a calculation method which gives approximate values and often higher than reality. In situ noise control can accurately determine the sound level to which a construction and its occupants can be exposed.
