Description
The European Commission has adopted the French regional aid area map (FRA) for the period 2022-2027, implemented by Decree No 2022-968 of 30 June 2022 on regional aid areas (RAAs) and investment aid areas for small and medium-sized enterprises.
This new map delimits the areas, conditions and limits within which the State and local authorities will be able to allocate investment and job creation aid to enterprises.
It determines the investment aid ceilings which vary according to the fragility of the territories, in accordance with European rules:
10 % of the cost of productive investments for large companies in metropolitan France;
45-70 % of the cost of productive investment for large enterprises in the overseas departments;
— rate subsidies of 10 % for medium-sized enterprises and 20 % for small enterprises are provided for in each of these areas.
AFR zones are eligible until 31/12/2027.
