Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Regulated stream sections monitored by the Meuse-Moselle and Rhine-Sarre flood forecast services (SPCs) on the Rhine-Meuse basin
Description
This layer corresponds to the regulatory line on which the state organises the monitoring, forecasting and transmission of flood information. This line is divided into several sections whose alertness (yellow, orange or red) is activated when the water level observed or planned at a section warning station exceeds a defined threshold.
The reference document for flood forecasting across the Rhine-Meuse basin is the Rhine-Meuse Basin Flood Forecasting Scheme (SDPC).
