Description
Polygons of areas posing a risk of merule presence in the Charente department.
The Merule is a lignivorous fungus (which eats wood) that attacks in particular the frames and all types of woodwork.
As soon as he becomes aware of the presence of merit in a built building, the occupant (otherwise, the owner) of the contaminated building makes the declaration in the town hall.
Where in one or more municipalities houses of meritula are identified, a prefectural decree for consultation in the prefecture is made, on a proposal or after consultation of the municipal councils concerned. This order delimits the areas where there is a risk of meritula.
