Map Viewing Service (WMS) of the dataset: Areas of competence for collection and treatment of household waste in 2021 in the department of Orne
Description
An EPCI whatever its form may have competence in the collection of waste AND/OR Treatment facility assigned by its statutes (General Code of Territorial Communities — articles L2224-13 to L2224-17 of the CGCT). This competence may include the collection and/or treatment of municipal waste. A municipality that is a member of an EPCI may choose to: (delegating that competence) to another public institution or body- to retain that competence. This creates “areas of competence” different from the administrative boundaries of the EPCI.
The territories of the organisations identified are represented in their entirety. The geographical area covered thus includes all the Ornaise municipalities and certain municipalities in the neighbouring departments (in the case of an Onais body competent in municipalities outside the Orne department or of a body whose headquarters are not in the Orne competent in ornaise communes).
