Description
Agri-environmental measures (AEM) are implemented in accordance with Community rules, within the framework of European rural development policy. They are part of the Hexagonal Rural Development Programme (HRDP). Among them, territorialised agri-environmental measures (MAETs) are a scheme designed to apply to specific areas with targeted challenges within priority action areas (Natura 2000 sites and priority watersheds defined under the Water Framework Directive).
The perimeters of these territories describe the management areas of unit MAET elements.
