Description
The “communities concerned by a PPRT in the Great East” brings together all the municipalities of the Grand-Est region, part of which is subject to urban planning constraints induced by a plan to prevent technological risks.
These PPRTs are established by Law No. 2003-699 of 30 July 2003 on the prevention of technological and natural hazards and the repair of damage. They frame urban planning around the ICPEs classified Seveso Haut. Depending on the intensity of the risks induced by the ICPE in the territory, different areas are defined.
In each of these areas urban planning rules apply. They may, for example, prohibit the establishment of certain buildings or impose requirements on certain types of existing buildings.
The layer also indicates the municipalities concerned by the PPRTs of Defence facilities.
