Description
Linear objects of roadways and railways of the sound classification of land transport infrastructure in Charente.
This noise prevention regulatory system identifies and classifies into 5 categories, 1 being the noisest, road lanes with annual average daily traffic (AMT) exceeding 5000 vehicles per day, and railways exceeding the threshold of 50 trains per day.
It is ordered and published by the Prefect pursuant to the Order of 30 May 1996 and Article R571-32 of the Environmental Code, after consulting the municipalities.
From this classification shall be deducted from the noise-affected sectors within which special building rules apply.
